&lt;p&gt;This is our new master platform bed. I used mostly recycled materials, along with some new including some&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;new 1/4&amp;quot; old plywood panels for the head board. I purchased 2 colors of vinyl from Hancock Fabrics and covered the&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;head board/mini-wall end caps, along with the 3 side supports that add stability to the platform wings on each&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;side of the bed and foot. The base is comprised using standard 2&amp;quot;x 12&amp;quot; Douglas Fir.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Queen size frame measuring 80&amp;quot; L x 60&amp;quot; W&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This table lamp I created from scratch. I acquired 3 blocks of mahogany and turned each one separately. I then center bored each turing and connected them together using threaded lamp hardware.  The lamp shade I purchased at Lowes.&lt;/p&gt;
